OUR PORTFOLIO

We are curating a diversified project portfolio, balancing removal and reduction credits, varied project types, jurisdictions and carbon standards.

Project origination, diligence and execution are the foundation of Base Carbon.

We are disciplined in assessing project characteristics for their emission reduction quality and their potential to generate measurable and durable progress towards attainment of UN Social Development Goals.

BETTER QUALITY LOWER RISK

Base assigns high value to project co-benefits. In our view, co-benefits enhance project quality and risk mitigation.

HOUSEHOLD DEVICES

Household device carbon projects, specifically fuel efficient cookstoves and water purification systems, aim to reduce carbon emissions by promoting cleaner and more sustainable alternatives. By facilitating the adoption of these devices, the project proponents seeks to improve indoor air quality, reduce deforestation, and provide access to clean drinking water, thereby positively impacting the environment and human health.

AFFORESTATION, REFORESTATION AND REVEGETATION (“ARR”)

ARR projects aim to remove atmospheric carbon emissions by establishing new forests or restoring degraded land through the planting of trees. These projects often involve high levels of community engagement and monitoring to ensure the long-term sustainability of the forested areas. Some of the many benefits of these projects include employment and livelihood opportunities for surrounding communities, biodiversity preservation, and reduced deforestation.
